mruby on Dreamcast (Drea-mruby)
Of course you can run your code on a Dreamcast emulator. However, most Dreamcast units can boot from regular CD-Rs formatted specifically for Dreamcast. Actually, it is necessary to get those units to run your own code, as you will not be able to boot other types of loaders (which would let you load your programs other sources such as SD cards) or use GDEMU on them.
I did a few presentations on this topic in 2019 to 2020.
I have made the following repositories for Dreamcast:
- dreampresent, the dreamcast presentation tool - This is the presentation tool used in all of my Dreamcast presentations.
- mrbtris-dreamcst, the block puzzle game - I wrote this first
- mrurdle-dreamcast, clone of a popular word-guessing game
